Moscow To and Fro draws heavily on Glyn Williams’s time as a teacher in the Russian capital between 2005 and 2012 and also talks about the author’s subsequent returns to the city.

The Baltic States, Copenhagen and Hamburg also capture the attention of the Liverpudlian educator, composer and historian across 14 chapters which celebrate the local cultures of each place featured, observe the human condition and bring friendships to life.
